The first thing I would like to tell you is that the gauge set is in excellent. Well kept, very clean condition, but the outside of the wood case does show wear and soiling from handling. I have taken many photos for you to study to show how really nice the set is. The base of the gauge has a very faintly etched owners name on it, which you can see in the photos. I have also taken photos showing a ruler to give you some idea of its size. Very nice gauge set! Lightly use d Starrett No. 445 depth micrometer set with a 4" long base& range of 0-6" in.001" increments. The micrometer has both the ratchet stop and spindle lock. Both working as they should. It spins freely and the 0-1" rod zero's out on a surface plate right on the money. I didn't check the other rods. That will be up to the winner to do. It is super clean, there are no engravings on it and it shines beautifull y. The other 5 rods are clean. And a couple look like they may have never been used. They are the.156 diameter size, which also work in the Starrett No. 443 half base model. The case shows a little we ar& tear. But nothing excessive.
