This auction is for a used Scherr Tumico Dynamometer with a range of 15 g to 150 g. Made in France. The arm is 4.5 cm long. It comes in a box with an information card. The condition of these items is as follows: The needle moves when the arm is moved. And the needle returns to a consistent home when when the arm is released. This applies to both movement directions. The home position lies slightly in the left side of the dial. The maximum indicator functions properly. The box's front clasp works properly. The box's hinges are rusty. And one hinge is broken. There is lots of wear on the outside of the box. The outside of the information card has some stains. This dynamometer is being sold as-is. It has not been tested beyond that described above. And should be checked against a force standard.

USA Made 1-2 inch deep throat style micrometer Here is an excellent condition 1-2" deep throat style micrometer from the well respected USA tool company Scherr-Tumico.Reads to.001" Has spindle lock& ratchet thimble.Anvil faces micro smooth. The fixed anvil face is factory made spherical or round. All graduations are nice, sharp and crisp. Operates smooth as silk. Does have a company number etched on side of frame that is barely noticeable. The black wrinkle enamel frame is about 97% present and mostly nick free and included is an adj. wrench.Tool does look lightly used. Tool IS calibrated. I would grade this precision tool a solid 7 on a 1-10 scale with 10 being new. You get exactly what you see in the pictures. Some of the blocks appear to have never even been used. From what my research tells me, Scherr Tumico only made really high quality, tight tolerance gage block sets. This is the kind of set you would use to calibrate gages. Also includes a brand new Starrett#172A thickness gage as a small bonus. PLEASE: Zoom in& examine the 1 2 high resolution pictures closely.
