Pair L S Starrett 4 Inch Dividers No 41 Hermaphrodite No 83 Spring Good
Offered for purchase TWO L S Starrett 4 Inch Dividers. There is a No. 41 Hermaphrodite caliper measuring 4 3/8" long. A No. 83 Spring divider measuring 5 1/4" long, and they weigh 2 3/4 oz unboxed. These are in reasonably good shape and were cleaned. There is a little patina but nothing worth kicking the cat over. The tips are good. The joint and screw on the No, 41 are good. Ditto for the nuts and thread on the No. 81. These ain't minty but they sure ain't bad either. A good working pair for any machinist's tool box for sure! Vintage Starrett No. 83 3" Spring Dividers Original Box
Vintage Starrett No. 83 3" spring dividers. Great unused condition. I removed them from the original, crumbling cellophane wrapper. There are some spots of tarnish and minor corrosion from long storage, but there are no other issues. The original box is included, it has tear in one corner. The Starrett bulletin in the box is dated 1950. Dime not included, present only to show size. See photos for a better idea of condition, and don't hesitate to ask any questions. Thanks for looking.

The dividers measures 9 inches from the top of the spring to the pointed tips and measure 8 inches when fully opened.
