Starrett Depth Micrometer No.445 with one extra spindle / shaft.
Folks this still functions like the day I purchased it. This was my go to depth micrometer. I had newer ones but this was my old faithful. It comes with an extra spindle that is a 3"er. It has stickers on it that I will not remove. This was ISO certified twice a year. The tool has been zeroed. However I do not have an extra spanner wrench to send along with it. As I go through my tools if I find one I will be sure to send it along. The machined out of wood captivator will come with it. It's the way I stored it in my tool box. This Starrett. Model 445, 0-12 Inch Depth Mic Set is not brand new yet certainly looks it. This item operates great and requires only a roll up or down the arm in order to pare this item through its entire stroke. The beautiful wood case is 20" X 12" and is in excellent condition. The depth mic has a six(6) inch base on it. This container has an individual slot for each rod thus not requiring one depth rod to be kept inside the micrometer which only enhances rust. This item has an etching on both it and the box that corresponds to someone's control number.
