VINTAGE STAINLESS STEEL 5" TESA SWISS MADE SQUARE: This is a very accurate instrument made by Tesa who is now part of Brown& Sharp. Makers and purveyors of the same. I have checked this with my 24" Starrett#20-24" bench square and it is as close to perfect as I can get in such a small tool unless of course we go to Starrett or Brown& Sharp, seems circuitous to me. It has 2 flaws that I can see, a hole in the lid of the padded storage case, and some light water marks on one side of the beam. All of which can be seen in the photos. I have had this little guy for a few years and used it in my machine shop, kept next to my lathe to check for accuracy. I find I have too many tools and I need to drop the duplicates, this is one of them. The handle is 1" X 3.5" No tool hits but there is a lightly scribed former owner name on the handle. Also, a few stains on the handle back(near my thumb in photo No. 3) and on the blade.
