Ames 282 Indicator and Unusual Bracket Support Stand Base
This indicator's dial measures about 2" in diameter. The pin that moves in and out. To turn the needle, springs back to 0 by itself and does not stick. The dial is connected to an aluminum bracket of some sort and that is not marked. So it may or may not be homemade. You can see a spring in the bracket. But the spring has been stretched too long so it isn't springy anymore. The bracket has no holes for mounting. See my other machinist tools. Will combine shipping if possible.

Description Up for bid is a Magnetic Base with a off- on switch made by Kanet MB-AV and sold by Sears- Craftsman No.9- 38908. This base comes with a Craftsman Dial Indicator No. 38673. The dial is graduated in.001" and it has a Revolution dial up to 10 revolutions. The base has a very strong magnet and will hold itself vertically. All parts are present and all adjustments and slides work smoothly. There are 2 blemishes on the indicator crystal which should not interfere with reading the indicator.
