It is the low/lounge height version and should work with most of the eames fiberglass shell chairs(except probably for the wide shock mount side chairs) The highest point of the base(front legs) is about 12 1/2" from the floor- the low point(rear legs) is about 10 1/4" Any questions. Please ask! The chair base shows wear consistent with age and use including surface oxidation/rust. One of the pipes connecting to the center piece kept falling out. The previous owner had taped it in vain. So I drilled a hole in the pipe and ran wire through it to keep it in place. No screw in the top plate. Testing: Adjust up and down. The top section seems to be under air pressure as it rises as soon as you release the knob. And have to push it down to get it back. Everything that should rotate does. Ship weight 26 lbs. 48x13x13 box. Going to be a combination of two boxes to get that length. But the next single box is wider and would make shipping even worse.
