This gauge was calibrated about 6 months before my step father passed away 2006 and was never used again it has been in storage ever since. Starrett Deluxe 254 Height Gauge 12 inch
This auction is for a Starrett#254 height gauge. 0-12" range. Deluxe height gauge, lead screw/knob adjustment, large.050" vernier scale, gauge zeroes out on table at zero due to a"V" cut in the base. Damage noted: some minor scraping on beam face near the number 2, consistent with bumping a grinder. See pictures. No Scriber, there is a scriber carrier but no scriber. Also there is a tool number engraved on the beam near the top. Nothing noted that would affect the performance or accuracy of the gauge. It looks to be in excellent condition overall. Everything works very smoothly, the gauge slides easily the full length of travel. I have no box that fits the gauge. I have one that fits a taller(18" gauge which I will throw in if the winner cares to pay additional postage.
