Hyster 6000 lb. forklift, propane, needs work
Here is a Hyster 6000 lb forklift. It needs work. The engine is hard to start and needs a starting aid such as carb cleaner to get it running. After it is warmed up. It will start without a starting aid. It only runs at higher rpms. It doesn't want to idle. I suspect the low speed run passages in the carb are blocked. The transmission and brakes work fine and I have run it up a hill fully loaded. There is a bad leak from a tilt cylinder and a small leak from the main mast. It weighs about 9400 lbs. The mast height is just under 84 inches in the down position. It has a 2 stage mast and power steering. The tank is not included. I can load this on a flat bed truck. Here is a Hyster S30A propane powered forklift with a triple mast. The width is designed to be 34 1/2" so it can fit through a standard 36" wide personnel door. The front tires on this one are a little wider than that so they will have to be cut down on a lathe or replaced with the correct sized ones to fit through a door. The mast in the down position is 72" The max lift is 13 ft. It runs. Drives, and lifts good. The brakes are marginal. The parking brake works but it doesn't go into neutral when actuated. The neutral switch or wiring needs attention. There is a hydraulic fluid leak near the left side front wheel. It is probably from the tilt cylinder. But I am not sure. It is mostly noticeable when setting unused. This is a rare. Narrow lift that nobody makes anymore. I have a forklift for your consideration. It has extremely low hours 3796 hrs on a working meter and the lift is still being used so actual hours may be slightly higher. Make is Yale. The model number is a GLP060TENUAE086. It is a propane powered 6000 lb basic capacity lift with a full enclosure that has a heater for cold days. A fan for hot days, windshield wipers for rainy days, pneumatic tires for running on most any surface indoors or outdoors, and lights for night time use. The lift has a three stage mast with Side-Shift. Tilt and 42" forks. Mast height retracted is about 86" and 190"15-3/4 ft. full height It has an automatic transmission. Power steering and a tilt steer column. I just replaced the brake fluid. Oil, oil filter, transmission fluid and filter, the coolant and greased all the fitting I could find. The seat ... moreis in excellent condition and has a seat belt. Front tires are in very good condition. Steer tires are worn but still have some life left in them. The brakes work well. I believe the front tires are foam filled and the rear tires are solid pneumatics, No Flat tires. The engine starts easily and runs very well. The paint is ugly but can always be painted if you wanted(not by me) The left side door has some minor damage to it and the small lower piece of glass on the door is cracked. No propane tanks are included. Just for reference. I believe the enclosed cab would run you near $7000.00 as an addition when new. I have covered anything I could think of. This fork lift used to run well. But failed to start on one occasion and was taken out of service. Fork lift has a three stage mast which also has side shift. 2003 Hyster S65XM Propane Powered 6500 lb Forklift This lift is in the Dayton. OHIO area and any serious buyers are encouraged to come and look, inspect this lift. I called the local Hyster dealer to get some history on this and he stated that this unit was delivered November 2003. It does not show any history of warranties or repairs through them. He also told me that it is the 3.0GM engine which is the more desirable of the options available and that this machine has the 4 way valve and is a very nicely equipped machine at the time it was sold. It has a nice set of heavy duty 60" forks that are in great condition and have never been cut on or altered. Hour meter reads 3592hrs. But looking at tires and writing on filters I am listing with 13,600 hrs. This unit is ready to go to work. Nissan 8,700 lb. Propane (LP) Forklift Model F03 Dual Front Drive Axle Tires
We are putting our super nice Nissan forklift up for sale since we do not use it. It is far too nice a machine to sit around only getting used about two hours per year if that. We bought this forklift in 2006 when we intended to go into a manufacturing business which failed to materialize. So we focused on our construction business which necessitated getting a 44' extend a boom lift. This primarily left the Nissan sitting most of the time with rare use. I would be surprised if we have even put 10 hours per year on it. Unfortunately. We don't know the hours because when we got it the hour meter was not yet hooked up still sitting at 0 hours as the seller had put a new one on when refurbishing. We could hook up the hour meter, but never took time as we were always too busy on other projects and didn't think about it, which I had ... moreforgotten until just checking it for this sale. When we bought it in'06 the seller said it had been through major refurbishing. Including the engine. We did find a few minor issues which we refurbished in brake master cylinder, emergency brake, propane regulator. We took a compression check this week to confirm the engine's excellent condition with the following results for each cylinder: 1=112 psi; 2=115# 3=115# 4=115# 5=115# and#6=115# Ours is an older. About 1986-89 Nissan forklift, but in excellent refurbished condition with many years useful life left in it. There is a much newer one on ebay now you can search at"Nissan 8000 lb capacity forklift pneumatic tire triple stage LP" which is listed at nearly $27,000 which the seller says is a bargain compared to new at about twice the price, which I'm sure it is. With our reserve of less than half that, you can figure out what a bargain ours would be at less than a quarter of new price. Our Nissan is actually a heavier lift capacity than other 8.000# rated forklifts with a rating of 8,700# on the stamped factory ID tag. This may be due to the fact that it has the more rare dual front wheels. Everything works
