HYSTER S40C DIESEL We have a good running Hyster S40C diesel forklift. We purchased this forklift over three years ago. Unfortunately. We are selling it as we have only used it a hand full of times since then and it makes no sense for us to have it. We installed two new batteries in 2012. The forklift was completely serviced when we first purchased it. It appeared it has been in storage for several years before we purchased it. It is a good working forklift but in rough looking condition. It still has a lot of tire tread left. Most of the gauges you see on the pictures do not work and I am not sure if the 4.000 plus hours showing in the hour counter meter are accurate. To start the forklift. You use a key. To stop it, you pull a cable connected to the water pump. Unfortunately, this cable broke and you have to use a pair of pliers to stop ... moreit. I will have our mechanic fix it but I cannot guarantee it as he is always super busy. The forklift leaks some oil. This unit has two powerful spot lights for night work.
