Now available for inspection and purchase at our warehouse in beautiful downtown Miamisburg. Ohio is this very nice Yale. Model GS16-040-NAS-083, 4000# Capacity, LPG Powered. Forklift, S/N P190113. This unit is in excellent condition throughout. It is powered by a very strong Continental Four(4) Cylinder L-Head LPG Motor(an undistructable little engine) and a strong single speed. Forward and reverse, automatic transmission. The mast is a three(3) stage. Measuring 83" in the lowered position and the forks will lift to a maximum height of 192" The class II forks are 4" wide X 47" long and will spread to a width of 30" inside to inside of the forks. This forklift is really nice. The front tires ... moreare good at 80% with some minor chunks out of the sides and the rear tires are also good at 75% with minor chunks out of the sides. The width of this unit is 41" and the overall length is 82" plus the fork length. The overall height measures 83" from the floor to the top of the mast. It weighs approx. 7.400# This forklift came out of service about three months ago. The company it came from(a major trucking company) has their own maintenance department for their forklifts and they have as fine of a maintenance program as we have ever seen. All of their forklifts are serviced regularly and anything found to be wrong is repaired immediately with Genuine Yale OEM parts. This forklift was actually used by the maintenance department. Yale 6000 lb cushion LPG forklift - low reserve!
This is an older Yale 6000 lb cushion forklift. It may be an oldie. But it's a goodie! They built these things to last. The 6 cylinder engine seems to run strong and always starts right up. The hydraulics work well and don't leak. This forklift has a manual transmission with a high and low gear for both forward and reverse, and the clutch and transmission both work well. The power steering seems good and the brakes are solid as well. The tires seem to have plenty of life left on them.
