True telescopic 3-stage mast(forks go up before masts go up. able to operate in low ceiling areas) 48" BackRest installed. My Company bought this unit used in December of 1998 from a Dealership. When we bought it hour meter read 370.9. Most of the missing paint was missing then and most scratches already present at that time. Previous owner ran with no backrest and as such had dented the main lift cylinder. We had new tires put on at that time and of course a new cylinder. Unit has never had much daily use. At times. Months(or seasons) go by when it is unused. Very little use for at least the last 5 or 6 years after contracts lost and business changed. No reason to sell it sooner. Business now relocated to home and not needed here Current hour meter ... moreis only 947.6. When we needed a forklift. We needed one, but we certainly didn't use it daily. Most of the time our business just involved 2 or 3 skids at a time being moved. We are on an alley too small to hold a semi so lifttruck was needed to operate down the alley. Chain set(for front drive tires) included which pretty much kept us going all winter. Two propane tank included. Neither is in great shape but both working. One full at this time. Starts and runs good. Motor will die if the STOPS on the Pistons are reached. I think this is typical of forklifts. At least it is typical of the three used ones I've owned. Battery replaced pretty recently. If anything leaks it does it in such small volume I've never known it to be much of an issue. I know we did not routinely add fluids. Be happy to answer questions. Case 586 E Rough Terrain Forklift Cummins Diesel Low Hours Runs Perfect Nice
This is a very nice forklift. Came from the original owner. It has been highly maintained. The tires are 90% all around. It is very tight and runs great. It will lift 6000 pounds easily. It has the cummins diesel engine. As you can see it has been painted recently by a proffessional paint shop and they did a very nice job. Looks like they took it apart to do the paint. There are no dents in the machine and the only reason it was repainted is because it had over spray all over it. The seat has minor wear. It starts right up and runs great. Engine does not have any leaks and sounds great. I ran it and it functions as it is suppose to. The brakes work perfect and also the park brake. It is almost flawless. The only leak is at the top of the mask and maybe fixed easily. Coming from the spanner nut. The tie rods are tight. There is very little ... moreto no play in the mask. Yale 6000 lb cushion LPG forklift - low reserve!
This is an older Yale 6000 lb cushion forklift. It may be an oldie. But it's a goodie! They built these things to last. The 6 cylinder engine seems to run strong and always starts right up. The hydraulics work well and don't leak. This forklift has a manual transmission with a high and low gear for both forward and reverse, and the clutch and transmission both work well. The power steering seems good and the brakes are solid as well. The tires seem to have plenty of life left on them.
