CATERPILLAR (CAT) Forklift GC25 w/ #5000lb lifting capacity
I am selling(I believe to be) an early 90 Caterpillar forklift that has a#5000lb lifting capacity. I have only had it for about 1 1/2 yrs. and it has served me well. I never had a problem with it. It was purchased from a granite counter top guy off of Craigslist. So I do not know a whole lot about the machine. But this is what I know: The good: The machine starts right up all of the time. Never had a problem. It runs well. All hydraulics work great. No leaks with the engine or hydraulic system. Triple stage mast and side shift all work well. The bad: The tires in the front are getting quite low and should be replaced. The ugly: Paint is faded(does not look like original) Has plenty of dents, dings, scratches, scuffs, chips, and whatever else you would expect from. This type of machine at this age. Lights are a bit broken up and do not work. ... moreThe seat is worn and could use a replacement. I have not used the unit that much. It was only used around 3-4 a month to unload trucks. I am selling it because I bought a New Holland machine. And I will be getting the forks along with that machine. The unit weights approx. 8800lbs. Caterpillar T125D Forklift 12500LB LP Gas -CAT Lift Truck- Very Nice Cond. -Ohio
This is a Cat T125D 12.500LB forklift with a Perkins LP gas engine. Dual stage mast, 10* tilt, and sideshift forks. We've had it for over 10 years as a spare unit and have always kept it in our heated shop. I believe it is a 1994 year model but you can double check the serial number if you wish. 1793 hours. The forklift runs great. Everything functions as it should! Steering is very tight. Brakes work good, no leaks or weak cylinders. Always maintained properly. The tires are good shape yet as well. Not chewed up from gravel. We re-painted it several years ago with high quality polyurethane paint so it looks very good. There are some scratches, especially on the back, as well as some over-spray from painting items on the forks. The seat is cracking, but otherwise in very good condition. We are selling a Caterpillar V50B air tire Propane forklift, which is rated at 5000 lb lift capacity. This is a good running machine. We have had it for about 6 months and used it daily. This is a great versatile machine because it is compact enough to get around inside the warehouse, but with the large air tires and heavy duty design, it gets around great outside in our yard as well. We replaced it with a bigger one, that is the only reason we are selling it. It has a new water pump, and a new fuel regulator. It starts and runs very well. Strong hydraulics. It does have a very slight leak from somewhere, ... moreit doesn't appear to be the cylinders. We have never had to put any oil in it, but when you park it over night, it will leave a small circle about 1 inch in diameter where you can see that it leaked out fluid. The tires have a lot of good tread left on them. The machine is rated at 5000 lbs, we have had no problem picking up 6k lbs with it in the past. It gets around very well outside, that is what we had it for. Our needs have changed, and we required a larger lift, so we replaced it with a 12k lb outdoor machine. The brakes work well. It has a 2 speed manual transmission. It is equipped with a 3 stage mast and has a 13 foot lift height. The forks are 4 feet long. The horn does not work. The lights do work. The parking brake doesnt work and we have never checked to see what might be wrong with it. It is has the valve for a third hydraulic if you would want to add something like a sideshift or fork positioner. Overall it is a good fork truck, We really hate to see it go, but can not justify having as many fork trucks as we currently do.
