This is a FANTASTIC Rotary head fly tying vise very early and no longer made. The vise comes with complete with a Thompson Hook/Hackle gage and a bobbin rest the total weight of the vise is 4.5 pounds it has adjustable jaw strength and a rotary lock to lock the head in place. I have used this vise for years with great success now the old eye sight is getting worse and I'm not tying any longer. The vise has a rotary knob and a thumb spindle for spinning the fly quickly. Time to clean out the fly tying cabinet so my kids won't have to do it for me. I'll describe the tools and materials photograph by photograph. Photograph 1: tools. The vise on the left is a an old Herter's I bought from them over a half-century ago; I've had a number of vises since then. But always was fond of this one. Probably as much of a collector's item now as a working vise. The vise on the left also is a old Herter's(if I remember correctly) The two leftmost rows also have 8 bobbins of various size, a couple of pair of hackle pliers, and a lacquer jar with bodkin. The next row has scissors, bodkins, whip finishers, hackle guards, and a hackle/hook gauge. Photograph 2: saddle hackle. Not much explanation needed here. I don't think any of these have been opened. A little Internet comparison shopping will show ... morethat these alone are worth more than the listing price for the whole kit and kaboodle. Photograph 3: threads.
