Vintage Orvis bag that could be used as a creel. Tackle or travel bag. The dimensions are 14in x 7in x 6in. I do not think this bag has ever been used, as you can see from the buckles, they show no wear or off coloration from being buckled and unbuckled. It has 2 small pockets with buckles at each end, while the main flap opens and the main compartment is divided into 3 sections. It also has a shoulder strap that again shows no signs of wear. William Joseph sling chest pack
You are bidding on a very very lightly used William Joseph sling style chest pack. I fished this pack two times and liked it but could not quit get used to the feel of the sling over your normal chest pack. The main pack has three compartments the two large and one smaller pocket in front of them. There is a small compartment above and below the main pack both would be big enough for a reel or tools or tippet. It as a built in tippet control system which I personally liked. The back of the sling has three compartments one large one medium and one smaller compartment they would be great for extra gear of all kinds. This pack has some great features and lots of space I tend to be a bit of a minimalist fisherman so it was not a good fit for me but for most it would be a good size I would think. Some numbers for you: Measuring seam to seam. Bottom of armpit, to other armpit bottom, 22" Measuring top to bottom. Its just about 23" crossing over centered black cortland label, from top of back of neck, down to back of waist. According to another Ebay ad for same Cortland item. W/ same measurements, this item is indeed size: men's XL. The live bug container was attached by previous angler(dad) and is easily removable. Orvis landing net
Hi, Here is a older Orvis landing net. I bought this used about 4 years ago. My wife bought me a new net this year so this is just setting in my gear bag an needs to find a new home. The net is 23 inches long including the handle. The basket is 15" x 8" x 16" deep. The net is Marked Orvis an made in Canada. The net look like it is made from a cotton like twine. There are no rips but there are about 6 spots on the twine where there is a little bit of fraying. Not sure if that is just the ends of the net from when it was made or if there was a repair, the openings on the mesh are all equal so I do not think they are repair spots but not positive. Over all the net is in really nice condition for being older. I will carefully wrap it in tissue an bubble wrap for shipping. It comes from a smoke free home. Thanks for looking.

Here we have for your consideration is this antique or early vintage fisherman's landing net. Great for fly fishing as a mater of fact I have used it this spawning season! It is made of a bamboo frame with a wicker ratan wrap& has a very strong netting that goes from green to brownish olive to black! It has landed everything from large 32" steelhead trout to the little rock bass& smallies that I always catch in the summer. I got a new net just recently& want to pass this on to a collector as it will just get beat up with me. I think it is at least 50 years old It was my great grandfathers. I have had it hanging in my kitchen& it makes a nice decor item as well as being a well made working net! No holes or breaks in the extremely strong netting.
