I'm the only owner of this cd player and there has never been any smoke blown its way. The top right edge does have a couple small nicks from a cable box that sat on top. It was nicked when cable box was removed. The pics show a close up from the top and another view from the front to show its barely noticeable from the front. I used black touch-up on it several years ago. The player itself plays perfect and everything works. Included is the manual, remote, and product manual.
