The cans are in rough shape with significant rust and limited graphics. They do have the side lithos and print including the Iroquois mark. Parting out a Logan Model 200 Lathe This lathe came out of an estate and had been sitting in a basement for close to 40 years. The serial number on the bed looks to be 16551(the second 5 is hard to read for sure) But based on this it looks liked it was made in 1942. That is from the Logan website. I am looking to sell the drive system- Head Stock, Cone Pulley, Motor Mount, Motor, Brackets, Chuck, Belt This is kind of a bastardized drive system- some parts look original, other parts are definitely modified, some are fabrications or newer. I will let the photos speak for themselves. I have a couple of photos that show this as it was found assembled. I ran it enough to prove to me that the motor works and everything spun, but I can't say how good a shape the bearings or gears are in- it definitely needs cleaned up. This is a unique and rare piece which is 100 years old. I recovered from a flea market in the Meuse 15 km from Verdun. The tray is made of brass it was certainly shaped into a shell casing. The inkwell is a head of German shells. The tank is made of brass and metal cap. You can see the typical inscriptions cones head of German shells: KZ 14. On the back you will notice a horseshoe that was crafted in copper. And it there head Basel rifles that were bent to put the pen. Iron horse strong chance these poor soldiers really needed.
