This old industrial light was made by Appleton Electric Company. I think it's mad e mainly of aluminum with a glass dome lens. I really don't know much about it. But it seems like it would be a good one to convert into a regular 110 table lamp, ceiling, or wall fixture. It's pictured sitting on a roll of tape. There's a little piece on the side at the bottom that sticks down just enough to be in the way. It has 2 rivets that could be drilled out if you want to remove it. Not including that piece it measures about 12 1/2" tall. About 4 1/2" across at the bottom and nearly 9" across at it's widest point. It has scuffs. Scraches, use-wear, and some speckles of spray paint on and around the red tag. I have another one. If this one does well I may offer it to the highest bidder at the same price(high bid each) if that buyer wants a pair. It weighs around 10 lbs. unpacked. Vintage Drafting Table Desk Light Lamp/ Industrial or business (Dazor ?) WORKS!!
This is a vintage drafting/ desk light lamp from the 1950's or 1960's and it work. It uses 2 18" fluorescent lamps; 15 volt each. It is completely adjustable and is extremely well built. It may be a Dazor. But I am not positive. The 2 lamps are brand new as I have just installed them. There is the general wear from the many years of use, but overall it is in very good shape. An industrial warehouse type light fixture made of steel with a porcelain or enamel type finish. The shade is apr. 14 3/8 inch in diameter and the overall height of the light is apr. 8 1/2 inches. The socket is for a standard size light bulb base. It was removed and tested and it does work. The socket has screw terminals for easy rewiring. The threaded hole on top will accept a 1/2 inch pipe. This is a huge vintage Strobo Research Monostrob 120v hanging light fixture. I have two available(the other is 330883593541) but this listing is for one. It measures approximately 24" tall and 20" in diameter at the widest point. This one appears to be missing a button on the top towards the back. And the housing for the light bulb has broke free from the mount. The bulb still screws in and stays in fine but the mount dangles some though I imagine someone who knows what they are doing could fix that pretty easy. It's made of cast aluminum and measures about 8 1/2" front to back including the glass lens. And 8" across. It has a"clip" on the bottom of the inside and a large spring that I suppose holds the bulb. But it has no wiring or electronics at all. Whatever goes in there just seems to go in and pull right out. It's grey. And in a few spots you can see it has been orange or red at one time. Cool decor piece, it could be turned into a pretty interesting table, floor, ceiling, or wall lamp. It is made of an aluminum housing with a cast aluminum lamp housing and a glass lens. The lens is 18" in diameter. We do not know if this works but the lamp looks good and intact. The handle has a gradient degree scale on it so the light could be adjusted incrementally. The U.S. patent number 2327820. Description Vintage industrial spot light from Stonco Electric Products. Heavy duty cast aluminum housing with adjustable stem and glass lens. The fixture measures about 10" across(8 1/2" lens) x 9" deep and weighs a hefty 9 1/2 lbs. It looks to be in pretty good condition. Housing shows some discoloration and the lens is a bit scratched in the center. I have not tested the light(no plug and the wiring looks old) I do not know if the bulb is still good or not. This is a lot of 2 Vintage Industrial Light Shades. They are white in color and I think they are enamel. The opening is 10 1/4" across. One is just the shade. HUGE Vintage Industrial Machine Age Steam Punk Spotlight GE Search Light Lamp
This industrial light or lamp is marked but I cannot read what it says due to the rust. The glass lens is very thick and heavy. Has no cracks or chips and is marked"GE" It is a convex lens so it magnifies the light. This light does work and of course the bulb will be included. The cord and plug have been replaced and look fine but I would still double check it before putting it into use. There is no switch to turn the light off and on. The big turnbuckles that you would turn to loosen the outer ring so you can swing the light are frozen into place although I didn't give it much time to let the WD40 soak in. maybe with some more soak time they will loosen up but no guarantee on that. One of the stays that holds the lens tight to the face has been broken off however the remaining one does work so you can access the bulb. The iron ... moreparts are heavily rusted with pits, just the way I like to find things. There are some light scratches on the thick glass lens but nothing serious at all. This light is large and heavy.
