This is a Mule emergency back up light. This unit will wire directly into 120V supply and is maintenance free. It will keep the battery charged and when there is a power outage will automatically come on and light the area. I have tested this unit and the battery takes a good charge and will power the lights for about 16 hours. There is an AC power indicator that glows when AC power is present to the unit. There is a push to test button and a light that indicates when the unit is ready. This last light does not come on so I am not sure if it is burned out or just inoperative. Portable Emergency Lighting System
For your consideration. I have a Portable Emergency lighting system for sale. Its made by Ultimate Support Systems and it consists of a Coleman 800 Generator(Kawasaki Engine) that puts out 12 volt to 4 lights on a very sturdy aluminum stand. The unit works perfectly and puts out some very nice light. I have used it for those outside projects that went into the nightime hours and it really helped when I needed light to finish. The generator is nice and quiet and runs a long time on a tank of fuel and is very reliable. The stand breaks down and the light bar is removeable from the stand for easy transport.
