HUGE Vintage Industrial Machine Age Steam Punk Spotlight GE Search Light Lamp
This industrial light or lamp is marked but I cannot read what it says due to the rust. The glass lens is very thick and heavy. Has no cracks or chips and is marked"GE" It is a convex lens so it magnifies the light. This light does work and of course the bulb will be included. The cord and plug have been replaced and look fine but I would still double check it before putting it into use. There is no switch to turn the light off and on. The big turnbuckles that you would turn to loosen the outer ring so you can swing the light are frozen into place although I didn't give it much time to let the WD40 soak in. maybe with some more soak time they will loosen up but no guarantee on that. One of the stays that holds the lens tight to the face has been broken off however the remaining one does work so you can access the bulb. The iron ... moreparts are heavily rusted with pits, just the way I like to find things. There are some light scratches on the thick glass lens but nothing serious at all. This light is large and heavy. STEAM PUNK VINTAGE PYREX HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRODE HOUSING 1936
You are bidding on a Two Vintage PYREX High Voltage Electrode Housings patented in 1936- Steam Punk item. These interesting glass housings measure 3 ¾” tall and are 2 1/8” in diameter at the large open end. Also the housings have a 7/8” opening at the smaller end. According to the patent application these PYREX housings were for use on neon signs. The glass body has raised screw threads on the outside just below the wide flange on the open end. The housings both have brass springs and contacts inside them. Both of the housings are marked in raised letters around the large open end“PYREX. PAT. NO. 2046960TL1 and 7500V. These two glass electrode housings show some age with some tiny chips on the screw threads. And one has some corrosion residue on the flange. The brass springs and contacts in both housings are corroded. And one is missing ... morethe cross piece that holds the spring inside the glass housing in the small end.
