Each has a brand of tennis ball, in their logo look on them. THey are made of frosted glass, except the bottom base. They would be great for mixed drinks at a tennis players bar. These are one of a kind! I cannot find any from the past 3 months on ebay! They are in excellent shape! They have no cracks, chips, dings, or damage. Buyer pays calculated shipping. Spaulding Bakeries 50th Anniversary 1946 Token- No Reserve Don't we ALL remember those delicious Krullers? Spaulding Bakeries was founded in 1896 by R. Z. Spaulding of Binghamton. NY. On the front side of this token is a green 4 leaf clover on the front and the words"Good Luck" and"SPAULDING BAKERIES 50th ANNIVERSARY" On the reverse side. Around the top, are the words"50th ANNIVERSARY SOUVENIR" and"SPAULDING BAKERIES, R.Z. SPAULDING FOUNDER 1896" It is truly an antique in near perfect condition. On February 14. 1925 Spaulding Bakeries ran an ad in the Binghamton Press announcing a contest with cash prizes of 1st prize $50: 2nd prize $35: 3rd prize $25: 17 prizes of $10 each-for the best twenty letters on"Why Bread Is My Best Food" For 1925. That was quite a large amount for the time. Spaulding ... moreheld trademarks for the words"Flavor-Fresh" for their bread) and"Honey Dunkles" for their Honey Glazed Doughnut Sticks) They were best known for their“Krullers. which were medium size(approx. 2- 2 ½ inch long) powdered donuts. They had a slightly different taste than the typical powdered donut. They could purchased at most grocery and convenient stores in their trademark orange/white striped boxes. In the late 1970’s and early 1980’s there was a“bread war” between them and Stroehmann Bread Company. Which was then headquartered in Williamsport, PA. Bread prices dropped to as low as 10c a loaf, which even for that time was very low. In the end. Spaulding filed for bankruptcy around 1982. Stroehmann’s purchased the“Spaulding Kruller” name in bankruptcy court. They did not, however, keep the same recipe. The do to this day sell donuts with the trademark name and in its signature box. The Bryan dollar is stamped“A Government Dollar contains 412 ½ grains Coin Silver 900/1000 Fine. Antique American Sterling Silver Dinner Spoons - Four - Spaulding & Co - 1890's
A Set of Four Antique American Sterling Silver Dining Spoons made by Spaulding& Co somewhere between 1888 and the 1920's. In the 20's Spaulding was acquired by the Gorham Mfg Co and the name was changed to Gorham-Spaulding. Each Spoon is approximately 7 1/2" in length and weighs about 1.8 oz for a combined total weight of the four of about 7.2 oz. Each is marked for the name of a previous owner. Rang and each is stamped Spaulding& Co on the handle and Sterling with the Spaulding Lamb, Anchor and S on the bowl. They are in very good condition with only normal usage wear. As you can see some of them still have the plugs(bakelite) on them and every one with a plug is wired up and working just needs to be plugged in.
