Antique Tinsmith Sheetmetal Hand Beader Burring Machine C.Brombach Tarrytown NY
This old machine comes out of an estate of an old local sheetmetal fabricator. This was one of his old hand crank forming tools, i think this is considered a burring or beading machine. Looks like an early pexto but the top brass plate is stamped C. Brombacher Tarrytown, New York. I had disassembled the machine for inspection and I did not see any cracks or repairs and there is no rust pitting, all threads are good and the gears only show a few tiny chips, nothing to cause it to bind or not work. Everything turns nice and smooth, the adjustable depth plate has some wear marks/ chips& gouges. The top brass plate is slotted for adjustment of the top roller. The wood handle has no cracks.
