Niagara No. 75 foot powered OBI Press. Reportedly manufactured 1925. History: This press was used at the tin mill at Bethlehem Steel's Sparrow's Point facility. There was a room inside the larger mill used for quality control and metallurgical analysis. It was used to punch out roughly 1x6" strips of sheet metal. I'm sure that other dies could be purchased or fabricated. It's unique in that it's foot powered like a sheer- fully inclinable. The manufacture date of 1925 is a guess as that is what someone wrote on the side of it. I am assuming they looked and found the original purchase order for the machine. Condition: It was used in production as little as a year ago. I think it does need some minor adjustments. Lube etc. Its been painted more than 3 times and there is some chipping. All and all it's functional ... morewith some adjustments. Shipping: Local pickup in Baltimore. MD is available. I can palletize it and bring it to my loading dock.
