Pexto Peck Stow Wilcox manual turning rotary machine This antique machine was found under a work bench of a 100 plus year old sheet metal shop. It has no recognizable manufacturing markings. But I do believe it is a Pexto. I oiled it up and everything seems to turn freely. Not sure what it was used for. It has a chip in the top of the case as well as a weld/braze repair. Pexto Peck Stow Wilcox 620B bead rolloer
This is a nice Pexto bead roller that has been on the shelf unused for years. Cleaning house and getting rid of some of the extra tools and items that we no longer need. We used this machine for several years but no longer make the parts we bought it for. It has been disassembled and cleaned up with the roller dogs tightened up so it is a really tight machine without the slop that most of these have. There was a repair made to the top housing years before we bought it but they have held up through the years of use that we put it through. All of the frame parts were bead blasted and repainted when it was refurbished so the repairs are exactly as the pictures show them. The guide has been built up and resurfaced at some point also. But shows no wear from overuse at this time. The roller dies are in great shape. Not a brand new machine but a ... morenice solid machine for it's age, they don't build em like they used to! I have tried to outline all the details and the pictures show the condition of this machine. As with all used equipment there is no warranty on this item, sold as is, no returns.

Up for sale today is a PEXTO PECK. STOW AND WILCOX shear, decommissioned about 3 months ago from our local university, originally an Air Force item. Was working well at the time of removal. Lightly used for the past umpteen years, was part of the maintenance facility. 6 foot capacity, rated at 16 gauge, however it has been my experience that these old shears can handle a heavier gauge than rated. This machine is HEAVY! It was all my little 5,000lb capacity forklift wanted, I can tell you that! Loading is available if you want to come to Reno Nevada, otherwise shipping is up to the buyer to arrange. I can drop it off at a shipper of your choice in the Reno-Sparks area, just be sure that they have the capability of unloading it at their facility. My guess would be in the 5,800 lb. range, based on how it loaded with the 5,000lb forklift. It ... moreis 3 hp. 3 phase, either 220 or 440 volts. Antique Peck Stow Wilcox Sheet Metal Rotary Beading Lg Turning Machine Pexto
This no reserve auction is for an antique tinsmiths rotary machine made by the Peck Stow& Wilcox Co of East Berlin. I think this would be called a large turning machine. I am also including the stand which is not marked by maker. The rotary machine has a top roller with a dia. of 2.78" The bottom roller has the front small dia. at 2.513" I had taken this apart and removed the old dried grease and checked for damage. I found no damage, the gear teeth look great and the bushings are in good shape. Turns nice and smooth. You will need to re-grease for use. All threads are good and handle is good with no cracks. There is one screw missing on the top plate to pinch the back bushing onto the shaft. I don't see any damage to the bench mount base either. I did not clean the base.
