We have for sale a Vintage FAMCO Arbor Hand Bench Press No. 2 Racine Wis. USA. Nice. As you can see from the photos this press is in excellent condition It measures 17-1/4 inches in height. And the base measures 17 inches in length and 6-3/4 inches in width. The press is fully operational. I can't say for sure if this is the original paint finish but it sure does look nice. This was an estate purchase. The press is very heavy over the 70 lb limit, so I will be partially disassembling the press and shipping it in two boxes. The main box approximately 65 pounds the shipping will be paid for by the buyer. The second box, the remaining weight I will pay for that shipping. This would make a great press to add to your shop at home. Don't miss out. The chunk of steel you see in the photos with the smiley face on it does come along. Vintage Sears Roebuck & Co Arbor Press No 2 Model 351-22618
I thought this was a great looking piece of equipment and then noticed it was from Sears Roebuck and that really got my interest. I have tried looking up information on it but basically found nothing. It came out of a working grinding shop but I don't know if it functions correctly. The handle easily raises and lowers the toothed shaft but other than that it is being sold as is. The overall height is about 18" to the top of the arched top. The shaft goes considerably higher when it is raised. The plastic(I think) nub is about 1" in diameter. The whole thing weighs about 50 lbs and will ship FedEx so it can't go to a PO Box.
