Uni-Hydro model 50-14. 50 tons of pressure and a 14" shear. The great thing about this ironworker is it's foot print in your shop. Only 28" x 34" I was in a smaller shop and the ironworker needed to have one side against a wall to fit in my shop. I ordered the machine without external grease fittings(the side against the wall) the sales man who sold it to me added them anyway and at the time I didn't realize what a favor he did for me. It really makes it easy to service. Now I like to make improvements to the equipment I buy where needed. I have added foot peddles so that you can work on the back side of the machine(see them in safety orange in a picture) This is for a square cutout in making up box corners, also a modification on the machine, but this is easily removed to replace with angle shear that's included. ... moreYou will also notice the articulated light I built that works at all stations. Cincinnati Shear 14 18 25 series Operator's Manual Sheetmetal Fabrication Steel
This is an original printed Cincinnati Shears Operators manual for series 14. 18& 25. Most of the information in the manual describes the 14& 18 series and there are 2 large 18x26" foldout blueprint style sheets that are designated for a 25 series, also a clutch setting sheet for the 25 series. These are originals from the 1940's, the manual shows some moisture damage with wavy pages and light staining spots along the top but all printed material is easy to read. We’ve cleaned it twice and now just a bit of steel wool might just make this new appearing. Tested on metals, it’s clean and sharp: 030 metal. It also cuts a sheet of plain-paper cleanly. The compound action makes the stroke nearly effortless. If we needed this here it would certainly not be offered. Hermes is an Engravables company and this was designed for metals an plastics. From an estate- used- vintage- Stanley model U214A Unishear 120 volt power Nibbler Metal Shear. Max. cut 14 gauge hot rolled sheet and 16 gauge cold rolled sheet steel. Good for straight line cutting not circles. Very nice older heavy duty made in the USA tool. In tested working condition. Recommend being sharpened and clearance aligned before being put into full service. Condition- used- vintage- scrapes and scratches. Dings and dents, paint loss, light surface rust, old grease, ground on plug is missing and plug should be replaced. Runs good! Blade sharpness not guaranteed due to age. Etc. Has been painted but case is not cracked or broken or repaired. Switch works good. Cord grommet loose but cord works fine. Small cut in outer cord casing.

Niagara 48" Power Sheet Metal Shear; Hold Down / Front Supports / ?? 14 Gauge ??
A local Sheet Metal job shop has recently purchased new equipment in order to accept production work. As a result some of the machinery presently being used will be released for disposition. I will do my best to describe the pieces accurately but sale is final so please feel free to ask any questions that you might have. Thanks You. Offered here is a Niagara 48" Power Shear. This was used to shear primarily 16 and 18 gauge sheet metal. I was told that the actual capacity is 14 gauge but i did not see the shear in operation so I have no way to verify that. The shear is equipped with front sheet supports and a spring loaded hold down bar. The(2) bars for the back gauge are mounted on the rear of the shear but there is no carrier or stop bar. So something would need to be fabricated. The picture shows just as the shear was removed from ... moreservice. The motor was mounted to the floor so a different mounting could probably be fabricated. Looks like a lot of machine for the money and should be worth the time and effort needed to put it into shape. Black& Decker Model 3225 Industrial 14 gauge shear 120 V. 3.0 A, 2700 SPM. Tool runs very good and smooth. Outer jacket of electric cord cracked in one spot and I covered with electric tape. No bare wires were ever exposed.
