This is a SHAW DEVELOMENT or BOHN COMBI 7 IN 1 tool. Takes the place of a drill press or a hand drill. Shear and brake. Very fast and convenient for taking to the job site(no electricity needed) for contractors and fabricators. Lot faster than drilling. This can punch. Shear, twist and bend hanger strap, punch angle iron and flat bar stock, cut round bar stock/threaded rod to 3/8" diameter. It has the capability of punching a 1/2 inch hole through 11 ga. steel. The tool comes with a 9/32" punch in it. Clearance hole for a 1/4" bolt. It has the capability of punching a hole through 3/16" mild steel. This can also do a 90 degree bend in up to 1" by 1/8" strap material. Can shear flat stock. 1 1/2" wide by 3/16" mild steel. It has scuffs and scratches from normal use. Notes: We don't know much about how to operate this item but we tested what we could. We can tell that it is made to straighten coiled sheet metal and then cut it at a specific length. When the electrical power was applied the motor. Gears and rollers all spun with ease and had no problems. When the pneumatic line was connected we got the cutting assembly to move back and forth, though it was a little sluggish. The bottom air tank has an end hose disconnected which may be a contributing ... morefactor. We could not get the assembly to move up or down. The two switch/solenoids on the top of the cutting assembly, on either side, did not seem to work. One made a clicking sound when power was applied and the other did not make any noise. When the air is turned on/off the cutting blade moves slightly up and down. None of the sensors were tested. The hand crank(cable) to the gear box was turned while it was running but we did not notice any change. We are not sure of its function. No further testing was performed. The buyer is responsible for the repairs needed to get this to operate properly. No manuals, cords/cables, or additional items are included if not listed or shown. Fein Fenway AEG metal nibblers shear Lot German fabrication cutter sheet metal
Up for sale is this lot of 3 nibblers. They all work. The Fein needs a new cord. The Fenway needs a new punch. Which they still make. The Fenway will go thru 8 gauge, and probably thicker. The Fein will do 8 gauge too, but you better check. Its a heavy duty mother. I talked with Fein, and they told me this unit cost $4000 new. The AEG is german made, and an excellent machine. Ask questions. Look at my other stuff. I will only ship to the lower 48.
