Vintage Westinghouse Wattmeter Gauge. Circa 1890-1910. Large and heavy, the case measures 7.25" diameter and 4" deep. Studs measure an additional 3.5" Unit measures wattage in cents per hour, up to 3 cents. Weighs about 10 lbs. Complete inside with transformer and magnet. Powersurge coil inside has burned/done it's job, can be replaced easily. Glass dial, steel case and iron back. Brass studs on back. Vintage 1920s WESTINGHOUSE Meter Altered Industrial Art Machine Age Steampunk
Really sweet old meter. Hard pressed to find many of these type meters anymore.Notice the running gears, Awesome! Back in those days they gold plated all of the brass gears, out of this world cool. Ya gotta love the 25 amps, LoL! 1. clothes dryer would use up the entire service and them some. It's hard to see in the photos, but the glass has amethysts hue to it.Steampunk masterpiece coming on.As far as I know the only thing missing is the bottom wire connection cover plate.
