Here, I'm using an SC-cut 101.54700 MHz XTAL, and the cavity oscillator is phase locked to the X17 harmonic of the crystal or 1726.3 MHz. The multiplier block/filter is X6, and the 10.357794 GHz output is 18 dBm. With the right crystal you can easily make a 10.368 GHz beacon, or a 10.224 GHz LO. I think someone retuned the multiplier block filter to pass 10.2-10.4 GHz(as it was originally at 10.45-10.75 GHz. Requires a well-regulated-20 VDC supply at about 0.4 A. This auction is for a tested as working correctly 19 GHz brick oscillator. I didn’t think I had any more of them but I ran across this one in my lab a few days ago. Although I thought so last time. This is indeed my last one. Great building block for a 78-80 GHz transceiver system. Several milliwatts out at 19 GHz and it uses an internal crystal oscillator as the reference. The BNC connector you see in the photo is to monitor the crystal and adjust the frequency. It uses a nominal 100 MHz crystal as the internal frequency source. I do combine shipping when practical. Communications Technologies Brick Oscillator 1 GHz for 1296 2304 MHz transverter
This is a really handy brick oscillator designed to operate at 1093.5 MHz. It requires an external reference signal through a female SMA connector. RF output is also a female SMA. The really nice thing about this brick is that it operates on +15 VDC. There is an LED on the end by the connectors and power connections that turns on to indicate lock. Moving this brick to 1152 I would think would be very simple but I did not try it out. The brick looks to be in very condition but has definitely been used. You might even be able to build a dual band transverter system using this one brick. Switch between two crystal oscillators. One at 96 MHz for 1152(+144 = 1296) or 2160 using a 90 MHz for 2304. Again, I did not try this but I would think it possible. Wiltron 6223D Sweep Oscillator Plug-In 4-12.4 GHz for 610D Mainframe TESTED
I have a pile of Wiltron stuff I got years ago and used in my lab. Replace when I got something a little newer. Its a shame to see this stuff just sitting when someone could use it! This is a plug-in module for the Wiltron 610D sweeper, although it would probably work fine in a 610B or C. This module, type 6223D covers 4-12.4 GHz. I checked this and it makes +5 dBm across the range, I used my spec. an. in store mode and then plotted the power output chart, which you can see in the pic. This unit uses two Avantek YIG oscillators, a 4-8 GHz and a 8-12.4 GHz(worth alone what I ask) with a PIN diode switch to very rapidly select between then. The output level of the 8-12 is not as flat as the 4-8 and I suspect the switch bias circuit is the culprit for poor flatness, not the YIG, and the unit still makes over 5 dBm across the band. Reason I say ... morethis is that YIGs of this type and vintage usually die completely, not with power like this. I also have other bands and some mainframes. So if you are in the market, just ask. The 610 sweeper mainframe is interesting in that it has a mode, set by internal switch, called the"8410" mode which means it puts out a sweep reference voltage for the HP 8410 series of Microwave vector network analyzers so this sweeper is HP8410A/B/C compatible! This brick oscillator is in excellent physical condition and works per the original specifications. It uses an internal crystal and runs on-21 VDC. From the appearance of it I think it may well have been a back-up spare unit at some installation. The black painted finish is nearly. But not quite, perfect. There are a number of minor scratches on the bottom mounting plate and at least some of them have come from my lab. I have previously tested it and the unit works great.
