This is a used Vectron International model 5153 10MHz TCXO. Temperature controlled crystal oscillator. We have multiple available and they were all made in or about 2001. Each of the units that we have in stock is individually callibrated and has marked on the label the exact difference from 10MHz calibrated at an ambient temperature of 25 degrees C: e.g. 0.3Hz or-2.9Hz(see) Beneath the screw on one side of the module is the slot for trimming the output frequency. The oscillators produce a sine wave output with an amplitude of 1 volt peak to peak. These oscillators are of high enough accuracy that significant performance improvement is seen when the complete oscillator package is installed in an thermal insulating enclosure to improve thermal stability.
