This brick oscillator is in excellent physical condition and works per the original specifications. It uses an internal crystal and runs on-21 VDC. From the appearance of it I think it may well have been a back-up spare unit at some installation. The black painted finish is nearly. But not quite, perfect. There are a number of minor scratches on the bottom mounting plate and at least some of them have come from my lab. I have previously tested it and the unit works great. 6.3 GHz PLL brick oscillator by Alcatel. Contains a high-Q dielectric resonator oscillator(frequency adjustable via the CAVITY TUNE screw) that is phase locked to a harmonic of the internal non-ovenized crystal( TO-5 size) oscillator. J3 is the crystal oscillator frequency monitor. Here. I am using a crystal of 101.6274 MHz: The X 62 harmonic is about 6300 MHz. J500(SMA female) is the RF output which is 16.1 dBm. Brick requires a well-regulated-12 VDC at about 0.4 A, and +12 VDC at less than 0.1A. The spectrum analyzer(at 1 MHz/div) the crystal, cables, and attenuators are not included in auction.
