From a victorian house estate sale in Abilene Kansas. Don't have alot of information on this Teapot Set. Some of the engraving on the bottom of the pot reads Rd No 165419 Hard Soldered. Stands 13b3/3" tall on it's stand. The 3 legs of the stand are 6 1/2" apart. Both the Tea Pot and the fuel burner are clean inside, do not appear to ever bein used. The 5& 6th pictures show 2 places where the handle had some small silver or chrome flakes come off. On May-16-13 at 20:18:13 PDT. I am not sure of the exact use of this piece but believe that it could be what is referred to as a Pipkin or Brandy Warmer as well as possibly a sauce or butter warmer- just not sure. There is no pouring spout which is a bit perplexing to me. The bottom is stamped with shape number 145 along with STERLING and the Rampant Lion Knowles trademark. It is in Very Good to Excellent as found condition! No damages- no dings or dents.Etc. The ivory handle has a few dark lines as you can see from the pics. The dishes weighs approx 310 grams or 11 ounces in total including the handle. Vintage STAR MFG Hot Dog Cooker/Steamer w/ Bun Warmer FIRE ENGINE RED !!!
Up for auction is the RARE model. From STAR MFG, of their commercial hot dog cooker. This was in very good condition when I originally purchased it. The first owner did paint the steel bottom a silver color. I did disassemble this and repainted it a FIRE ENGINE RED. This was painted with"high heat" paint so the temperature will not affect the new paint job. All parts are original, and I do believe this is complete. The heating element was cleaned and the electronics were checked; all works great. This heats up very hot within a few minutes. The steel base has been painted. The sides and corners are stainless steel with very little visible wear. The 3 piece top is aluminum and that has also been painted the FIRE ENGINE RED. All glass panels are also original. The control knob is cracked but does not affect the function. No directions ... moreare included. The original cord does also have a tiny split which again does not affect the function or safety. A few paint imperfections could be seen upon close inspection. This would be great for parties.
