I have a Southern Pride Smoker xlr-350-slm for sale. It has been used for the last two years in my restaurant and catering business. It works very well using hickory wood. It uses propane gas to help regulate the temperature. It currently needs a new rotisserie motor and gear and a new gas valve to be fully functional. I have been using it with just wood and it does a great job. I have used it for my restaurant business and also catering. I have been able to smoke meat for as many as 500 ppl at one time. I have been very pleased with this unit. You can look at southern pride website for parts to bring this unit up to 100 percent functionality. It does work just fine in this condition but with a little investment in time and parts you will have a great smoker. Also included in this auction is a 1990 ford f350 box truck. It runs and drives ... morevery well. It needs new batteries to be a daily use vehicle. I am including this as a catering/transportation rig. This smoker was designed specifically for Ribs however it is so versicle that you can cook anything that you wish on this Southern Pride. The racks are made to flip over for different products ie one side holds ribs and the other side will hold butts. For your consideration is a custom made charcoal gravity fed rotisserie convection smoker. It is a one of a kind made to use in competition bbq circuit and has many trophies to show for it. There were over a 100 hours of shop time in the fabrication of this unit and it is built well enough to use in a restaurant day in and day out. And now for the features. Has 4 rotating removable racks that are 12 wide and 52 inches long. Each rack will hold 2 full size and 1 1/2 pan disposable pans. This gives you the capacity to put 6-7 10lb pork buts per rack. 7 X 4 = 28 butts per cooking. Three whole packer brisket for 12 briskets per load. Rotisserie is done with a Dayton gear reduction motor. Drive is done with a chain to jackshaft and a v belt to the motor. If a rack hangs up the belt will flip off without hurting motor.
