Thank you for looking. Up for auction is a Saunette personal and portable steam bath. I tested it and it works. I am not sure if all the pieces and accesorries are present if any. I could find no reference anywhere about this product I am not sure of how to utilize this fully. In the bath. Kitchen or steamroom? The DC clamp creates some interesting possabilities. I guess you could run it on a battery as well, create a steam engine, distiller, or steam room. This would be an interesting and unique addition to any mid century collection. I could not find another one like it. It is a possible rarity. I like the classic label, red button and red feet,riveted makers mark and dc clamp. No major flaws other than scuffs and stains and a some green corrossion on the metal lip and some grime. This is a nice original low tension spark coil made by the National Coil Company. It measures about 2 9/16 inches in diameter and about 6 7/8 inches tall. It has been tested and puts out a spark that looks like you are welding! It has one original thumb nut on it that is marked N C Co. The other is damaged but still functions just fine. These original coils are getting tougher to find every day and they certainly give an authentic look to a nice original engine! The pictures tell the story. Old IHC R Type M Mogul Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto Steam Tractor Oiler NICE HOT!
This is a real nice original International Harvester Type R rotary magneto. It was standard equipment on the 6hp Type M engines as well as the 1. 1 3/4, and 2 1/2hp Mogul engines. It was also an option on the vertical IHC Famous and Titan engines as well as the 2 1/2 and 4hp horizontal Famous engines. It could probably be made to work on other engines as well. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has the original name band on it. It has minimal wear in the bearings and turns over with great magnetic pull as I just recharged the magnets. It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center. The mounting threads in one hole are in perfect condition and the other one is not as good but still holds a bolt ... morejust fine. These original Type R magnetos are rather tough to find especially in this condition so if you need one for a project or just for a spare on the shelf look no further than this one. This is a very hard to find original cast iron magneto gear for a 1hp International Harvester Mogul gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be used on an engine. It measures 3 3/8 inches in diameter and has 32 teeth. It is original part number 1879T and even has some original Mogul green paint on it yet. These original gears are very tough to find and always look better than the steel reproductions. Here's an item you don't run across every day! It's an original cylinder head for a small Gade hit and miss gas engine. It's in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs and still has most of it's original paint on it. It fits in a 3 1/2 inch cylinder recess and has a number 3 casted into it. The valves move freely and can likely be reused. The head mounts in an irregular pattern.the top three holes are 2 7/8 inches apart on center and the bottom three holes are 3 3/4 inches apart on center. The threads for the spark plug are in great shap. If you've been looking for a head to complete a parts engine or to replace one that's broken or repaired, here's your chance. What you are viewing is a really nice example of a late 1890s era. Nickel silver, Warren Webster Modulation System Steam Heating Vacuum and Pressure gauge from Camden N.J. This is a fine example with all around great threading on all the parts, glass that is in great condition, even under the framing and is in good working order and has been tested. Piece only has minor aging and wear to contend with and displays wonderfully for its age. Piece measures 6 1/2in X 7in X 2 1/4in and is a nice displayable size. Beautiful Antique Sad Iron, "Smoothing Iron," w/ Tin Heat Shield, Trivet. Steam?
This is a very interesting and attractive antique sad iron. Apparently also called"smoothing iron. with its trivet and inside grate for supporting coals. It has a neat swinging vent hole cover which is embossed with the gilt letters FCS. The only other markings I find on the piece are on the top corners. Which appear to be the numeral 7 and. On the other corner, CJP[ The di mensions of the iron. When placed on the trivet, are 10 1/2" long, 8 3/4" high, and 4 3/4" wide. This iron came from Belgium. Altho ugh I'm not sure where it was manufactured. Another attractive feature is the tin shield beneath the wood handle to shield the hand from the heat of the iron. There is a spring latch/lever which holds the top closed. And, when pushed to the side, as shown, allows the top to open to load with coals. The"spout" ... moreis of particular interest, and, although I can't verify this, I was told that. If desired, one could pour water down into the heated iron to produce steam; this seems a stretch to me. But perhaps someone knows for certain whether or not this was the intention of the"spout" or whether this was just a"chimney" to let out the excess heat and/or smoke. I have not, however, seen such a spout or chimney on other sad irons. So perhaps this is the case. The trivet is a very attractive design. Thanks for your interest in this item. Superfine rare 18th century steam engine possible prototype
Rare 18th century hand made highly detailed steam engine. Fresh from a wealthy Far Hills New Jersey estate. It was covered with over 200 years of dirt. This could be a historical item.looks like a prototype. Even the screws and nuts look handmade. The detail is exact, to the smallest part. There is some great old red paint remaining. If anyone knows anything about the maker, I will post. Has 2 flywheels, one is 8" cast iron and the other is a 6" brass one. Excluding the 8" flywheel and axle, it is made almost entirely of brass. Minor defects are as follows; missing 7 out of 8 studs and nuts that hold the cover on.the good news is that all the threads for the 8 studs are good, not damaged, easy fix) and also missing are the 8 nuts for the side cover. The rectangular brass water trough is 2" by 14&1/2" with a wood ... morebase. The unit works smoothly.when spinning the wheels you can hear air coming out of the cover. The wood base measures 8&3/4" by 16&3/4" Unit weighs 18& 1/2 pounds.
