There is no electrical cord included. The 4-1/2” x 6” base is of castiron, the fire box is steel sheet metal. The smokestack is missing, the boiler water glass is missing and the top connection for the glass needs rotating& resoldering, all the brass water glass parts are included, not the glass tube. The only skilled repair required on the boiler or engine is the water level glass assembly, everything other than that is in good working condition. These pieces were purchased as a lot from a thrift store. There were no more pieces. I wish I knew more about the set. The date 2008 is stamped on all cars except the engine. I have NO IDEA IF THE ENGINE WORKS! Part of the train broke off(as pictured) and it looks like a light might be missing from the front of the train as well. All fastrack pieces go together very well. No cracks in the plastic. Not sure if the maintenance car is missing something on top. Ask questions if you have them. But I simply don't know much about this train set. What you see is exactly what you'll be getting!

For auction I have a 3/8 penberthy injector. It is used and in good condition. All the threads are good and seems to be complete. The numbers stamped into the injector are. 00-526 and 1714629. 18 Pound Brass NATIONAL Steam Pressure Recording Gauge Rare Example In the field steam pressure gauges. There is a sub-category of Registering or Recording gauges. From Barry David's seminal work The Antique American Steam Gauge: In the mid-1880s] inventors were toying with the idea of combining time pieces with the steam gauge. the inclusion of a clock movement and some kind of recording medium such as a round paper dial or spool of paper and recording pen charged with ink. It was designed to supply. a reliable instrument for recording all variations of pressure which take place in a steam boiler. it provided a graphic representation or chart showing every such variation of pressure. Its extent and duration, and time when it occurred. Several companies put out versions of recording gauges: Edson, Ashcroft, Ashton(under the name Peerless) ... moreMarsh and the one most commonly found today, Bristol, which was patented in 1894. This example by the NATIONAL GAUGE CO. NEW YORK, is the first I have encountered from this manufacturer. Similar in shape and operation to the Bristol, it has a clock work mechanism that turns a paper dial one revolution in 24 hours. A standard pressure gauge with an added mechanism(see the 6th and 7th photos) moves the ink pen(not present) over the paper to record the varying pressures. This auction is for an antique clutch pulley for a steam or Hit and Miss engine. It is 9" in Diameter and the belt face is 6 1/2" wide. It looks like it will fit a Shaft that is 1 1/4" in Diameter. It is all free and all of the pieces fit together well. The Roller Bearings appear to be in good condition. It is cast iron and is very heavy. It has the words cast into it"Patent(PPLD? For Twin Disc Clutch Racine. WI. I only see 1 clutch lining disc, but it looks like it should be easy to find another. It looks like it has been dinged up around the shaft hole, but I don't think it would affect the operation of it. I have never used a clutch like this, so I don't know much about it. Bucyrus Erie Antique Porcelain Sign, Cranes or Steam Shovels
This is a large(25 x 7.5 inches) Bucyrus Erie porcelain sign. It was made by Veribrite Signs of Chicago. The sign is in generally good condition. But there is a large chip at the top edge, and several smaller chips. Around the edges, the black is chipped through to yellow and white colors. The sign is not bent. There is a small black spot on the B, which may have been a factory flaw. There are some rust-colored streaks and scratches on the Y, and some light scratches on the black parts. Where the chips are down to the metal, the surface is rough and somewhat pitted, but not very deeply pitted. There are still brass( screws in all four of the holes, with square nuts and washers. The prewar American Flyer 429 Steam Switcher and Tender with Back-up Light is in overall very good to excellent condition. Both engine and tender have been in storage for over ten years and will have to be oiled/lubricated before any type of prolonged operation. The engine and tender were briefly test-run. For the most part the engine ran effortlessly in both directions. But at times the E-unit would stick. This was easily amended by switching the E-unit lever in the cab of the switcher or just re-pressing the directional button on my transformer. I believe with a little cleaning of the E-unit, this"sticking" issue would be easily amended. Also, the back-up light of the tender is fully operational. I thought it was a tanker helmet until I saw the WW2 German Luftwaffe inspired forehead connector for the O2 mask. Neat helmet size 56 way too tight for my big melon( it is cutting the blood off to my ears as I type this… but a great piece for display or wear!
