Acorn cast iron chrome pieces for a stove of some kind. The round circular ones are marked Acorn and Stoves and Ranges. They measure 8 3/4 inches from the top tab.About 7 1/4 inches circular. The round one's do have some crome peeling around the side edges on both of them. The big acorn measures 10 inches by 9 inches. the back of this reads 37 sideways- then busy 6824- 0 Pan-There are a couple of holes for screws to attach in the metal top and bottom. Fun old pieces.

An old advertising blotter from the Excelsior Stove& Mfg. Co. Quincy ILL. Dealer on left is Neely& Craven. Wayne, Neb. It promotes their wood or coal burning kitchen ranges and pictures 2 of them. Blotter has a severe bend in center which can be easily seen on the back. Some of the letters are faded or missing, probably a poor print when made. Gold Medal at 1904 World's Fair dates it. Both have attractive coloring on their outside pages, with description and directions for use for the Monroe Range, and an illustration of a Red Cross Parlor Heater and some general sales description on the inside pages. Condition: Monroe has very light wear and toning and a single 1/8" margin tear at bottom.
