Vintage Dormeyer French-Fry Skillet. Likely early to mid 1950s vintage small kitchen appliance. Comes complete with fry basket. Basket handle and cord. The cord is still very pliable and in good condition. Skillet weighs nearly 7 pounds and the fry pan is approximately 10-3/4" in diameter. From outside tab handle to the end of the lifting handle it measures approximately 20" and from the counter to the top of the knob it is about 7-1/4" tall. Very nice condition with just light staining of the well which might be removed with an aluminum cleaner if desired. The unit is a safety model 824244 with cool sides and a locking, sealing lid for safe deep frying. Replaceable charcoal filter on top keeps odors from escaping. 8" round basket, 3" deep for a good quantity of food. No booklet or instructions. But unit is super easy to operate. No temperature dials to worry about, just turn the unit on and when the oil is at the proper heat for perfect frying, the ready light will come on. Oil fill lines are marked inside the well.
