This is another reel that stayed in the modular rod locker of my bass boat that I kept in the garage between fishing trips. If you look close you can see some small boat rash here or there which mostly came from laying on the front deck of the boat with my other rods and reels while on the water. Only used in freshwater, no salt water use. I also kept a reel cover on it while stored in the rod locker. This is a great fishing combo as a back up or easily added to your main arsenal. Ponds, rivers, whatever you choose. The reel, Shimano Chronarch 100 BSV which is no longer made and highly sought after. This reel has quite a bit of boat rash but casts like a dream still.it's a very smooth reel and what you would expect from a high end Shimano. The rod is one you wont find many of these days.
