2- Two Vintage Shimano Bantam Reels, One-201SG & One-300
Up for auction are these two Shimano Bantam baitcasting reels. The one on the left is a Bantam 201SG, left handed reel and works great. There is a little chrome loss by the worm gear as seen in pictures, but I know reel is still in good condition. The Bantam on the right is a 300, right handed and is for parts only. Side plates, handle, and other parts are in good to excellent condition, not sure how the gears are inside, they feel ruff when turning handle. I take all my reels apart and clean them inside and outside and grease them with a lithium grease. The Bantam 300 I left as is, was not taken apart. This is a PayPal only in the United States. Vintage J. A. Coxe Reel 25-2 With Fitted Leather Case
This is a used reel. It shows some wear. And it does not work correctly all the time. The spool does not rotate every time when you turn the handle- it appears, to me, that the clutch sometimes engages and sometimes it doesn’t. The adjustment knob on the non handle side of the reel is cracked(see picture) I do not know if this is the source of the problem. The leather case is in very good condition; however. It shows wear at the edges, and various spots on the back, front, and lid. It is stamped“Genuine J A Coxe Tackle Bronson, Michigan” on the bottom. Lot of 2 vintage fishing reels (Shakespeare No 1837, Johnson Model 44)
Lot of 2 vintage fishing reels: 1 Shakespeare silent Tru-Art automatic No. 1837 Model GB. I have never used this reel and do not know if it is in working condition or not. You can turn it to set tension and it will retrieve when you press the button. But that's about all I know on this one. 1 Johnson Model 44. Again, I have never used this reel, but mechanically it appears to be in working condition. As you can see in the last picture, when you unscrew the face you can see the inside and it looks to be in very good condition. I have not broken it down any further than that. These are two nice old reels and would look good on any vintage or restored rod you have.
