Formax FD 2000 AutoSeal Pressure Sealer - Paper Jam
Up for sale is a Formax AutoSeal FD 2000 30 pressure sealer. This unit was received from a business as surplus equipment. System powers on fine but when attempted to feed a document the paper would only enter about 1/10th of the way and stop while displaying a paper jam on the LCD. There seems to be no obstruction for the paper path in rollers. The conveyor belt works great but again seeing I was unable to identify its issue I am listing AS-IS. Cosmetically. It is complete and ready to use. Hard to find one with all the pieces like this one. I ran it through a bunch of testing and it works fine. Comes with the Folding machine. Pressure sealer, base and magnetic paper catch. According to the controls it will fold many paper sizes in many different fold configurations to include bifold, trifold, accordian, etc. All fold lengths are adjustable. There is a speed control and adjustment for paper thickness. I read somewhere it will fold up to 11,000 sheets of paper per hour. The folding machine plugs into the pressure sealer or can be operated independantly. This was Formax's top of the line machine ... morein 1999. It took me a while to learn to work it because I have never sold one before and dont have an owners manual. I had some trouble getting the intitial feed to work properly but the more I messed with it the better I got it to work. I am certain someone with experience will have better luck than me. Cosmetically in great condition with some sign of normal use. I dont see anything missing or broken. Once I got it feeding properly it worked like a champ. The different fold adjusments are working and the speed control is working. The cords look good.
