multigraphics 1860 press
This machine was in use up until 2 years ago. Since that time it has just been sitting in our shop. The rollers would need to be replaced for any quality work as they are pretty hard. It has a Kompac dampener on the front unit and a conventional water system on the back unit. This unit is sold AS-IS without any warranty. It does power on and run. It was updated with a DC motor and speed controller back when it was being used regularly. It was used to print pharmaceutical inserts for most of it's life and later was retired to running 10x15 envelopes and that is what it is currently setup for. I bought out a printing business& have equipment for sale. This sale is for a Multigraphics 4610K printing press. This machine was the workhorse for this business. It is fully functional& prints really well. Im not a printer so I dont know how to use it. But it does power up& runs. Not sure how to make paper go through it. I can share a video of it running while in operation. The silver cylinder looks great with no holes. The Blanket looks smooth. It has a T51 Townsend swing away head on it with electrical lift. Here is a vinatge multigraphics work shelf. This is a great item. It attaches to the non-operator side of your press. It attaches without bolts just hangs if you want. The unit then provides you a lot of work space to help keep the pressman more efficient. This was on a old 1250 that I had and when I sold the press it wasn't on it so I still have it. The unit has been in the storage room since. It's a great item. Use it like it is or paint it to make it look like new. Item will fit 1250's and 1850's and I'm kinda sure it would fit other multis 1360's. 1650's, 1450's and more. Up for bids is a late model Multilith 1450K 2 color offset printing press. It was purchased new by my Mother and Father in 1994. They own a local weekly newspaper/Print shop. They no longer offer printing services so the press and all the supplies go with this auction. First of all let me finish up with details on the press before I get into the supplies. It has Kompac Dampering and features a Swing Away T-51 2nd color head. It has been very lightly used over the years and is in excellent working condition. Its chain delivery with powder attachment as well. As far as the supplies go there are extra blankets.Wash, plate mock up sheets and lots of inks. Anything that's associated with the press and in the pics go with this sale. Due to the size of this thing we would prefer local pick up but for a prearranged amount I would be willing to ... moredeliver or meet you with it. We would also be able to band to a pallet for freight shipping and of course you would be responsible for shipping costs. Up for bid Multilith 1218 offset printing press with a Swing-Away T-Head. It is fully functional and in good working order. very clean with very little ink on it. whoever ran this press took care of it, as I have ran presses myself for over 40 years. It has the conventional dampening system that came with the press and features a Swing Away T-51 2nd color head. Its chain delivery with powder attachment as well. Anything that I have that goes with this press will be included. Due to the size of this press it will be for pick up only. If you have a floor jack and a flat bed or lift gate it can be loaded with out any issues. I do not have a Loading Dock(Flat Driveway Only) Located by Canton.
