Antique Baseball Stitching Clamp - Vintage Stitcher Machine, Vintage Baseball
For your consideration: A very vintage and rare baseball stitching bench. It is probably close to one hundred years old. This contraption would have been used in a baseball making factory. A baseball as pictured. Would rest between the clamps and would allow the person sitting on the bench to sew by hand horsehide baseballs. There is a clamp near the foot that adjusts tension on the clamps. The leather on the bench still has some life left in it. I have rarely seen these. I have never seen one in this great of shape. They are usually missing the leather or the wood has dried up and is weathered looking. Also, you would see just the clamp and not the bench. It prbobaly belongs in a museum. The Speedy Stitcher antique sewing awl tool COMPLETE w/ box & manual RARE
Up for sale is an antique Speedy Stitcher. These are still available today. But this is a very old one. I could not find any similar versions of this tool that had the box design, which leads me to believe this is an older and more original version of the Speedy Stitcher. The Speedy Stitcher can be used for repairing shoes. Harnesses, buggy and auto tops, saddles, etc. It can also be used to sew grain bags, burlap, etc. The manual/pamphlet is in excellent condition and has no rips or tears. It has very nice illustrations that are indicative of it's history. The box is complete and all original. One of the inside flaps is very loose and close to falling off. White Model No 165 Sewing Machine With Carry Case Zig Zag Stitcher

This sewing machine sews but I do not know how to thread and probably needs to be tuned up and the thread is binding up. Model 77, red, and it comes with the original operation manual(which lists all the parts as well as how to run it) The motor runs, the belt turns, and the horn spins. I have not done any testing beyond this(i.e. No stitching attempted) so I'm selling in"as-is" condition. The belt may need to be replaced if this will be used. I bought a couple Machines from a Shoe Repair Shop back in SC. One is a Landis 12 K and the other is an Auto Soler. the shop just recently close because the owner retired. These were sold in working condition. However I do not know much about these machines but I will answer questions the best I can. I have not tested the machines fully but you can see video of what test I did. The machines are loaded on my enclosed trailer. In the video you will see light flash when powered on that is the light in my trailer because of the turning on machines. These are being sold as local pickup in Ocala Florida.Please bring help.
