A set of 2 cast iron corner pockets from a vintage Nutting cart. One of the pieces is marked Nutting R Patent and the other is marked Nutting L Patent. The overall height is apr. 4 7/8 inches. The inside of the corners are apr. 3 3/8 for one leg and the other leg is apr. 2 1/2 inches. The top of the hole is apr. 1 3/8 inch in diameter. We gave the parts a basic cleaning to look for any cracks. Etc. None found. May need further cleaning. The pictures should show the rest. Tapered legs are accentuated with vertical inlays and stand proud of the main body of the table where they intersect. The single drawer in front echos the inlays with wood edge trim around the its perimeter. The keyhole is an inlaid diamond in mother of pearl with a keyed lock inside. The key is unfortunately not included. Drawer pulls are brass with central flower motif. The table corners display a gentle curved radius giving the piece a“modern” feel. The top of the table is hinged in back and folds open to double the surface area.
