Great condition but it has padding compound on it(no surprise there- that would be the case with any"used" padding press and does not effect functionality, it can be cleaned off) and some marks but completely functional. Much better than what is sold new today. Great item. If you are looking at this. And you don't know what it is- this is the function: It helps to makes note pads. Paper needs strongly compressed before adding padding compound. That is what this unit does. The Martin Yale 1217 Auto Folder is small enough to fit on a small table or desk or cart. We used this to fold trifold brochures(we started printing runs of 500 to 1500 trifolds on our canon and docucolor inhouse instead of outsourcing them once we got this folder) as well as letters. Bifolds, z-folds, and more. It is sized to allow up to 11 x 17 to be folded although we mostly used it for conventional trifolds. Selling because of a health crisis which has forced me to get out of printing for now and the cost of maintaining the space to keep everything when not turning out jobs.

I don't know much about this item. But I'm guessing it's a photo/paper trimmer. The front says"Div. Martin Yale, Chicago, Ill. The back says"model 212" or possibly"model 312" along with"STYLE G" and"JUN 1968. Not including the handle. The machine is 15" long and 8.5" wide. Machine seems to be in very good shape. Handle moves freely. Blade is on the machine. I don't really know how to clean this thing, so I'm leaving it as-is. I don't know how well the blade cuts. But I know it was owned by a semi-professional photographer who worked sporadically. I don't really know how to test the item, so it's being sold as-is.
