This is a Mutoh manufactured machine. Xerox sells the identical Mutoh-manufactured printers as does Oce. The same printers are sold by Mutoh itself as the Mutoh Rockhopper 3 Extreme(with eco-solvent ink) and the Mutoh Spitfire Extreme(with mild-solvent ink) You can change the ink type yourself by looking at these instructions. We purchased the machine from auction in 2010 and never used it. When getting it shipped from California to Florida the shipping company removed the inks from the machine and the leftover ink in the lines dripped out from the bottom of the machine. I cleaned it up as much as possible. It does not affect the performance of the machine. I installed 4 new DX4 printheads. New dampers, new and new head caps. The machines firmware was put back to the Mutoh version firmware so you can use OEM Mutoh inks or 3rd party Mutoh ... moreinks. I installed the new print heads because I let it sit too long. The machine is ready to go just needs ripping software(mutoh) and inks. Here is the spec sheet from Oce It does come with some inks that you see in the picture 2 black 440ml 2 cyan 440ml 1 cyan 220ml 1 magenta 220ml 1 black 220ml There are about 10 other cartridges that have been used but seems most of them have almost full ink in them(if you want them) Users manual included. There are some ripping softwares installed on the machine but no dongle so I honestly think you need a ripping software. KIP 8000 Star Printer, KIP 2200 Color Scanner Wide Format Printer
Good used KIP 8000 printer with a KIP 2200 color scanner. Both are in very good condition. The meter for the printer is(meter A linear feet 0423865) and(meter B is 0956331) This unit was used at a power company and was no longer needed. It just had a new developer put on it at 371000. Everything is in good working order with no errors. The scanner is in good working order but its missing the purple dongle for color scan to file. It still works with monochromatic(black& white) A purple dongle can be bought with license for $600. All the parallel ports on the Embedded Controller are there(for PDF file etc. Both machine have low work hours and have a lot of life left on them. INFINITY FY-2506 FLATBED/ROLL TO ROLL PRINTER This is a 3 year old printer with a complete overhaul. New ink system installed. All lines, pumps, solenoids, push-button switches, filters, ink tanks, print head cables and much more. Added optional take up system. Uses Seiko-510/35 printheads. 4 printheads have been reconditioned using the Printhead Doctor system. Configured as a 4 color printer, can be setup as a 6 color for faster print speed. I am a factory trained technician for many brands of large format printers including Infinity/Orasign& Kamjet Chinese printers. I took this printer in on trade and completely rebuilt it from the ground up. All electronic and mechanical parts have been checked and those not up to spec have been replaced or rebuilt. I added the media take up option as when this printer was ordered from the factory ... moreit was meant for mostly flat-bed use. I have the 2 large steel tables for the flat bed. It can print up to 1/4" thick. It prints at resolutions up to 720x720 and can print hi-speed modes up to 49m/2 per hour(about 500 sq ft) It is 6 color(Cyan. Magenta, Yellow, Black, Light Cyan& Light Magenta) and has built in print head purging and flushing systems. The pictures show it running with 4 print heads. I had the defective ones installed to verify function but did not use them for test prints. I printed Goodwill trailer wraps with this as a function test and it worked great, even in 4 color mode. This is a 220 Volt machine and requires a dedicated 30 Amp circuit. Sale includes Printer. Flat-Bed feed and take-up tables, Computer with Fiber-Optic driver card, Print driver software and Flexi-Sign Rip. All Fiber-Optic and data cables are included along with a power extension cable that will plug into a standard 30 Amp dryer style outlet.
