Mutoh Falcon Outdoor 46 Inch Large Format Printer
Used Mutoh 46 Inch Large Format Printer. I have it for the last 2 years in my print and graphic business. Cosmetically its in excellent condition. I bought a 64 inch Seiko about six months ago and did not use Mutoh since then. Although I cleaned the lines and the heads before removing this but some ink may have clogged in the system. So it may needs thorough head cleaning with Eco-Solvent Head cleaner or New Heads. This is a real workhorse. Does not require expensive maintenance. An ideal Large Format Printer for outdoor printing of banners and signs, even vehicle wraps etc. for a new business with low investment. Good Luck and Happy Bidding.

Up for auction here is one Mutoh Falcon Outdoor Junior large format printer. It will print a maximum of 38" wide. I bought it a few years ago as a backup parts machine for my printer. I never needed any parts from it. This was a $8-10k printer. But can be yours for much less if you are willing to do a little refurbishing. Heaters work. Feeds paper through it fine. Sensors work. Will need printheads. These are still readily available today. The black is $150 and the color head can be found for as little as $250-700 depending on whether you go aftermarket or not. These are $10000 new. Have a nice printer for vehicle wraps. Mutoh Falcon Rockhopper 62" EcoSolvent printer. Works great. Used for daily production. Replacing with Latex or I would keep it. Lightly used but run almost every day in Medium sized printing company. Print heads are less than 6 months old. All nozels firing. We print on 13oz vinyl. Fabrics with backing, floor graphics, window perf and film. Even figured an easy way to print directly onto Vehicle Magnet rolls. A real work horse. We perform a short clean every day we don't print. Take up reel lets me set it up hit print and go home. Large capacity bulk ink system. Uses small chrome and black labels to cheat the sensor. I have lots of them if you use aftermarket cartridges. I have both the user manual and repair/troubleshoot manual to go with it. Printer also includes Parallel to Ethernet adapter to put it on your network. Very fixable but we just cut with scissors. 2/ Before you first start up you have to move the print head to the left side of the printer and allow it to find home or you get undefined paper error. Something to do with the settings that is just not important enough for me to bother with. No software is included with this printer. I have a full version of Flexi Print Server Pro 10.5 in another auction. I will run a cleaning cycle on all colors and box and skid for $200 additional. You are looking at a pristine condition very large 62" wide eco solvent printer. Mutoh makes very nice products with very user friendly maintenance. This printer has the optional very nice take up reel. It does have ink cartridges in it(all 6) but not sure on the levels. I ran it through all the cycles. It functions all it should including the sheet cutter. Comes with full roll of adhesive printable vinyl also. This unit has not been powered on in approximately 9 months and solvent printers need daily maintenance to operate correctly. It may need heads as to be expected.
