Up for sale- Hp Hewlett Packard DesignJet 750 C Plus Wide Format Printer/ Plotter for parts/repair. This item is used and being auctioned as is; comes with a power cord and no other accessories. It is missing it's wire catches along the frame and is parallel interface only; no USB. There are cartridges installed but I believe they are mostly empty save the black which reads as full. The cartridges and ink nozzles/ print heads condition is not known nor is the total page count. We tried using a different roll of paper than that specified and could not get it to print anything. There is a network card installed but it is not tested either. The parallel port works and my computer picked it up right away but you will have to watch for driver incompatibility(we were using Vista and could not find an effective driver for it) Above are some ... morescreen shots and the cartridge carriage moved back and forth with no issues. The stand is in good shape as are the castors. The printer has some discoloration but not a lot. Overall good shape for it's age and sold as is. A couple round spools with some pens? in them, some loose items, a couple bulbs, a brush, a plastic container with a bunch of plastic wheels that might be cogs? and a bunch of bottles of ink. This is a 36" roll plotter. I haven't used it since 2000 because when AutoCAD 2000 came out they stopped providing drivers for this model and it hasn't been used since. If you are interested in this item you might check to see if you can get a driver for it before bidding. I have no drivers nor setup disk and it isn't plug and play. As the photos show this offer includes the User's Guide. A serial cable(RS-232-C) and numerous plotter pens. Most of the pens have never been opened but I can't certify that they are still usable. According to the User's Guide this model accepts 11" 24" and 36" sheet or roll media. The normal maximum plot length is 61.7" but this model also features Long-Axis plots in consecutive frames.

HP 7580b plotter that I was trying to turn into a vinyl cutter a while back. I couldn't figure out how to get the software to run it. So I bought an actual cutter. The plotter still works. Or at least did, I did a confidence test with it a few times and all was fine, except the pens are about out of ink(maybe all the way out of ink by now) Someone wrote that you can refill them using India ink, but I'm not sure if that is only black. Also. One of the caster wheels is missing, so it sits a little uneven unless propped up under that foot(you could maybe replace the wheels for a couple $) I have a replacement, but it is a bit smaller than the originals. I bought a special cable(I think because of the age of this machine. You need a special cable to connect it to modern PCs) for it that you can have if I still have it. We recently upgraded our plotter and are looking to sell our HP Designjet 800PS- 24" printer/plotter. Plotter has seen much use but has been well maintained. Still runs great and provides decent quality plotter printing for an older machine. This would come with a full set of new unopened ink cartridges. As well as the ink remaining in the plotter. The cartridges do not work with our new upgraded plotter. The cartridges alone make this a good deal for someone that doesn't necessarily need a high production or expensive plotter.
