This is a 6 inch bit used for a reamer run in the oil field and had it chrome plated to put on my office desk. the cones are locked in place from the chrome but if you choose to use this bit for water well drilling or whatever all you would have to do it break the chrome loose. personally i like it as the center piece on my drilling office desk. nobody has ever entered my office and not asked about it.

I am listing this 1978 Alten Loomis Clipper 24-A Mounted on a 1988 Ford F-600 Truck with extra drilling tools for a motivated seller who is ready to sell! If anyone has any questions about this rig. This listing is for a 1978 24L alten loomis clipper. 4 Line Machine with a 4 cylinder continental motor with a 5 speed transmission mounted on a Ford F600. This Ford has some pickup and pulls the rig down the highway at 60 MPH with no problem, even some room to spare! Machine drills to 700 feet on 5/8 drill line and the machine is currently equipped with 400 feet on it now. This machine has a sand line auxiliary hoist and even has a fourth line on sheave for a cat head rope and shaft for cat heads. This machine comes to you ... moreFULLY TOOLED with fishing tools, two sets of spang jars, blocking, sand line bailer, a full circle socket fishing tool, an under reamer drive head, drive clamps, break out, and tightening tools! It even has all jacks needed to level the machine and the drill component is set up so that the truck does not need to be jacked. The ring is on a hinge so jacking is much more efficient and less labor intensive, aka saves you time and $$$! The telescoping mast goes to 40 feet with auto braces and the drill has a centering guide for the drill stem to start the hole for you. Up for Auction is One(1) Cavins Company Vintage Depthometer This device is in good used condition and still counts and moves the counter as you turn the wheel. I do not dare clean the dirt off of it since it could risk ruining its vintage value These units have been in manufacturing since the early 1900's and the design has changed very little if at all. First used for oil drilling measuring. Then boat Captains realized that it could be a quick depth measuring device that they could carry around since it is super strong but relatively light. I do not know the exact age of this particular unit. But my guess is a minimum of 30 years, but could be as old as 75 years, though I am selling it as is since I am not an expert in these vintage tools. It looks like it was used but not abused. 78 CP 650 well drilling rig
Truck 78 Ford L 8000 Carrier with 3208 Caterpillar engine. 5 x 4 Transmission with 44,000 lb. Eaton Rear Ends. Jack shaft and torque arms are new. Tires are In good condition. Front tires are 425 x 22.5 and Rears are 1200 x 20. Rig Rig is a 1978 CP 650 WS. 35K Pulldown and Holdback. 3406 Caterpillar deck engine. Deck engine runs strong, low oil consumption with no leaks. It has a new starter and alternator. Valves were also set recently. Compressor is a GHH 825/300 and has roughly 2,800 hours on it since it was rebuilt. We have also changed the oil in the compressor, replaced the separator and rebuilt the pressure regulator recently. Hydraulic system is tight with new oil and very few leaks. Many new hoses through out. In 2006 one of the secondary pumps was replaced with a new pump and in 2007 the primary pump was replaced with a new upgraded ... morepump with higher flow capacity. Control valve bodies were replaced with new ones and roughly 18,000 dollars was invested in hydraulic components in 2007. Hoist rams were replaced with rams for 50K specs. In 2008 one of the two was rebuilt with a new rod and seals. The 37 ft. mast pulldown and holdback chains are 140's if modified to 160 chains and sprockets rig could easily be a 2000 ft rig. Gear box between deck engine and pumps has been resealed recently,while opened up bearings and races were inspected and everything inside looks great! Drive shaft between deck.engine and gear box has new U-joints and slip joint is in excellent condition. Rig also has a 2 Cylinder Bean Injection Pump rated at 12 gpm as well as an electric hammer oiling system which works flawlessly. In 2007 the top head drive was rebuilt, putting in a new pinion, bearings and seals This rig has drilled to 1,060.ft with no problems. All maintenance was done regularly. Everything is in working order. Ready to drill. The rig is stored indoors since I obtained it in 2011. 300' x 41/2" flush pipe will be included. DRILL RIG DRIFTER, ROCK DRILL, Drilling, Mining, N/R Tamrock air powered drifter
Tamrock air hammer. I had this one set up on a small feed frame at one time and used it for some foundation repair work. I don't know much about these things so I'm selling it"for parts or not working" however it does rotate both directions. Hammers and worked well when I drilled with it. I only have a 185 compressor and that is NOT enough to run this properly. I think it needs 375 minimum, possibly more. Hammer and rotation are independent of each other so it has an old hydraulic valve to run the rotation and a ball valve to start the hammer. I think the threads on the striker bar are 1/4" rope. I'm guessing it weighs about 200 lbs. It's heavy enough I can't move it around easily to get better pictures. As is where is. Montrose colo 81401. Local pick-up is preferred, but I can strap to a pallet and get ... moreit to a dock in Montrose or Grand-junction Co. Buyer will need to set that up. I have 5 of these that are just collecting dust and rust. The other 4 are the bare drifter, no hoses or valves and I will need to verify that they work.
