DEEPROCK HYDRA-DRILL AV 600 PORTABLE WATER WELL DRILL GOLD PROSPECTING ~COMPLETE What we have up for auction is a DeepRock Manufacturing Hydra-Drill Well Drill. Model: AV-600. Serial Number: HC591159. Tecumseh Engine(Model: AV600 660047K(B) Includes 19 five foot drill stems. 9 couplings, two drill bits and an unopened bag of Quik-Gel. Also included(not pictured) is a 3" commercial grade trash/mud pump with a Honda 5.5hp motor. Pump is used but worked great last time it was used. It has been sitting for a while and will need the carburator cleaned out. No hoses for the pump are included. Drilling rig is essentially new. The motor was run to properly break it in. The only drilling this rig has done was just to test it out. Please take a look at all the pictures so you can truly appreciate the condition of this rig. Please take a look at ... morethe pictures. everything you see is included. Although it is not pictured. The assembly manual is included. The only piece that is missing is the bolt which secures the cable to the powerhead. This can easily be replaced with any bolt you have laying around. I just used a pin to temporarily hold it for the pictures. Drill has been stored for several years and you will notice some very. Very light surface rust on some of the piping. nothing that wouldn't wipe off with a piece of steel wool. Although the gas tank was drained before storing. The anti-slosh foam in the gas tank is deteriorated and will need to be removed and replaced. No big deal, I just wanted to be sure to mention it. New cost on this drill was close to $5000. My Buy It Now price is less than half of that and I feel I have a very reasonable starting price. Due to the size and weight of the item it will be shipped freight collect via my freight carrier. I don't believe this bit was ever actually used but shows some wear on it. the only problem i can see is that it is missing 1 carbide tooth directly in the center of the wheel. bearings are good and none of the other carbide buttons shows any signs of use. i may deliver personally for a fee but i will not ship. your welcome to come and take a look at it. bit is for sale locally.

Old oil drilling bit from the old-timer who used it on a rig years ago. Could be from a rig in Ecuador or from one of the other many countries where he worked. It looks like a miniature model of a large Tunnel Boring Machine pictured in articles about underground bases. I thought of Phil Schneider right away. I said it looks like a a mini-tunnel boring machine and he barked right away that he never did anything like that. Maybe he was a paranoid ex-Bechtel spook. Three individual cutters turn easily. Silently. Approx. 6 3/4" long, widest girth at cutters top approx. 3 1/2" and the narrow tapered threaded end approx. 2" dia. Heavy(9 lbs) There are a series of stamped numbers/letters on bottom threaded edge(they look hand-stamped) It's not all that clear even with a magnifying glass.
