An air operated backup and equipment set up to run 2 3/8" to 2 7/8" This tong was tested and rebuilt recently. When we refurbish a tong we take it apart 100% and replace any worn or broken parts. This is a used cast fluted backreamer for use in directional drilling. I am not sure if this is for Ditch Witch or Vermeer. The total lentch is 17" and the black part 12" between the swivel and threads. Measured the diameter at 4 different sections Widest end by the swivel is 13 1/4" Dead center before the teeth 12" Widest toothed diameter 14" Smallest end with teeth by threads 9 1/2" Just the swivel end is 3" long Just the threads is 2" long Didn't notice this before but it has the words"SHARK TOOTH" cast into it I am selling a few different types of tools for a friend so check my other auctions. This bit has been sitting in a garage for awhile- I am selling it as used but I see no wear on it. Only some dust and very minor surface rust. There are no chipped teeth and all bearing tight and turn nicely It is stamped 4 5/8 size on end. Please see all photo this is what you get.
